Daniel is a software engineer working for Outreach.io, where he takes care of its search infrastructure. Previously he had developed for many years in PHP and then in Python (in Seznam.cz). In 2020 he became interested in Golang and to dive more deeply into it he started an open-source project Gdu - fast disk usage analyser, which became quite popular and is now available in almost all operating systems and Linux distributions.
